Historic Golden Hotel

Great spot. Brian was friendly and helpful. A Comfortable bed, good hot water, wifi, a shared kitchen space is available. only complaint is AC units were loud. Its a historical building, so its likely a challenge to effectively and quietly cool the space.

Christine was extremely accommodating when another hotel in town gave me a serious run-around. Turns out, we appreciated staying there more than we would have any other place in town. The location is excellent for access to local restaurants and bars, and the rooms are clean and comfy. I loved the historic nature of the hotel and the thoughtful and careful upgrades. Temperature control was good even in serious summer heat. Parking was easy and the access to laundry and a full shared kitchen would be very welcome if we were staying for longer. Our room did come with a mini fridge with freezer and microwave which was nice for the short stay or a lazy day.

Parking suck but it is a really cool place. It's old, so you got to remember things are not going to look new. The rooms are cute and comfortable. The bed was nice. The bathroom was small but cute. There is a movie theater downstairs. There's a pool table in the lobby. You can wash ur clothes on site. They try to keep the prices down, but with water and electricity being crazy right now. they had to up the price. I would stay again. I don't know if this is for all rooms but we had a big TV bigger than most hotels that I stay at

We loved this hotel. It is a historic building so the rooms are not the latest styles but everything was extremely well taken care of and clean. We absolutely love the style. Our room was huge! We will definitely stay here next time we are in the area.

Price is right, a little dusty and they definitely could use a bit of an update. Beds where a little firm but they are half the price of super 8 and the rooms where clean enough. it did freak me out that they write down credit card numbers and I saw at least two other customers card numbers in front of me during check in. I did like the historical staircase and it's an interesting place.

Due to some business in a smaller town close to O'Neil myself and my son were going to be checking in well after 8:30 pm. I called the hotel and the lady was very helpful & pleasant. She said no worries just dial a number when we get in the lobby. The room was very clean & very comfortable. We enjoyed our stay and will stay their again when in O'Neil. Gregg & Cole Rhoades

Me and my partner ended up in Oniell with his travel nursing gig and found this hotel through one of his coworkers. the staff was amazing and kept us updated while we were waiting to get out room cleaned and we stayed here for 3 months. the room was large with a full kitchen and beyond anything we ever expected walking in. they have a “kitchen” area in the lobby with lots of pots and pans for the guests to use in the apartments. overall this hotel was a blessing for us to find! worth every penny even though it was not nearly as expensive as other hotels in the area with just a bedroom. the hotel is located walking distance from some local restaurants and shops. If we happen to find ourselves in oniell again we will definitely be back!!

Stayed here with my wife and kid on our trip across country. Would stay here again when we travel through. “Historic” hotel, great price! Recommend for those one nighters needing a place to rest before hitting the road. Front desk was available at late hours for check in.
